Fillmore & Western Railway offers exploits of the "STAR TRAK" motley crew On board Murder Mystery Dinner Train - One time only- Saturday, April 22  Space, the final frontier, descends on the vintage train, the Fillmore & Western Railway, for one night only on Saturday, April 22nd. Trekkies, trekkers, mystery buffs, and those out for a good time will make their way to Fillmore to interact with the characters of "Star Trak", a spoof on the popular tv/movie genre. Passengers will enjoy 21st century Prime Rib or Chicken Cordon Bleu while they are transported to the 23rd Century to "boldly go" where no man has gone before nor may want to ever again. This is the year of the 40th anniversary of the first broadcast of STAR TREK, it is the month after William Shatner's 75th birthday on March 22nd, a short time before classes begin exploring "The Anthropology of Star Trek" at Lake Tahoe Community College, a couple of weeks before the 25th Annual International Space Development Conference in Los Angeles, and just five months before the official 40th anniversary celebration at the Space Needle in Seattle. It is time to beam yourself up for some fun and memories on board the Starship Enterprise, otherwise known as the Fillmore & Western dining car. Renew the Prime Directive, observe Vulcan rites, and get up close and personal with the stars… as well as the characters committing interstellar mayhem on board the train, correction starship. This "Wagon Train" to the stars departs from Fillmore at 6:30 pm to travel the future. 21st century price is $89 USD per person over the age of 18 only.
