Team Building
9:30AM Arrive Fillmore Central Park Train Station for boarding
10:00AM Train departs for downtown Santa Paula
During the One hour trip west, a continental breakfast consisting of Coffee, Hot Tea, Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Danish Rolls, Muffins and Fresh Fruit will be served to passengers. Passengers will enjoy a mini-lecture by the Conductor and other railroad staff on the particulars of rail safety and history.
11:00AM Arrival in downtown Santa Paula
Passengers will begin their day of "team building". Wine tasting and identification at Glen Tavern Inn. Employees will form teams as they scout the downtown area in a scavenger hunt for historical facts. They will be searching for clues to create a complete puzzle during the trip back to Fillmore, as part of one of the team building activities.
1:00PM Passengers will reboard the train for a catered lunch before resuming the train ride to Loose Caboose Garden Center and Gift Emporium.
1:45PM Passengers will arrive at Loose Caboose and continue to search for clues and artifacts.
2:00PM All employee/team members will gather for puzzle-building with the clues they have gathered during the day. A tally of the items found during the Scavenger Hunt will take place. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
3:15PM Depart Loose Caboose-During the 45 minute train ride back to Fillmore, employees/passengers will be served dessert and coffee or iced tea. A trivia contest will be conducted regarding the activities of the day, and the railroad information given at the beginning of the day.
A grand prize will be awarded before the train pulls into the station.
4:00PM Train arrives back in Fillmore
