Q. Do the trains run if it's raining?
A. Yes, our trains run RAIN OR SHINE.
Q. Do you have a concession stand or should we bring snacks with us?
A. We have a concession/gift shop on board with a variety of snacks to purchase.
Q. I have an infant child. Can I bring my stroller on the train?
A. Some destinations are not stroller friendly; we suggest bringing a baby sling, infant front or backpack carrier.
Q. My dog goes with me everywhere. Is it ok for me to bring him with me on the train?
A. With the exception of certified service dogs, animals are not allowed on the train.
Q. Is the train handicap accessible?
A. Due to the historical nature of the cars utilized, it is recommended
to contact Fillmore & Western Railway at (805) 524-2546 for any
special needs or accessibility issues.
Q. Will the train wait for me if I'm running late?
A. 99.9% of the time our trains run as scheduled, we suggest checking in 30 to 45 minutes prior to departure.
Q. Where do I pick up my train tickets?
A. Tickets can be picked up on the day of your ride, 1 hour prior to departure, at 364 Main St. Fillmore, CA, 93015.
Q. Where will I be boarding the train?
A. Most trains will board in front of the ticket office 20-30 prior to departing.
Q. My child is under 2 yrs of age, does he/she need a ticket?
A. Yes. Even though children 23 months and under are free on lap, every passenger is required to have a ticket.
Q. Is there an additional cost for parking?
A. There is no charge for public parking.
Q. Do we have to stay seated the entire train trip?
A. You do not have to stay seated the entire trip. But for safety,
children must be accompanied by an adult when walking through the

A. Reservations are recommended on all trains, and required on dinner and special event trains.
