Let us take you back in time to the 50's and early 60's on one of our
newest summer rail excursions. This evening train ride will make
a one hour trip to Santa Paula, a real step back in time. Enjoy this
new family excursion train to the Santa Paula Classic Car Show.
Dining will be on board the railroad's vintage dining cars in the style of the 50's with Cheeseburgers, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Meatloaf Sandwiches, Potato Salad, Apple Pie, Rootbeer Floats and Cherry Cokes. Served up in "drive in style" baskets.
A little "Grease" music will put you in the mood for a swinging remembrance. Put on your "dancing best" white sport coat, poodle skirt and bobby socks for a "sock hop" good time as the zoot-suited DJ rolls out those favorite songs from the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. Top 40 radio and American Bandstand ruled!
This blast to the past provides an hour and a half in Santa Paula for viewing the classic cars or just walking around the charming 1950's style small city downtown. Make plans to participate with your whole family.
